Spend Mother’s Day Here on the Beach!

What better way to say that you appreciate your Mom than to take her for a special day on our beach! Whether it’s a nice long walk along the coastline, or a day lounging out under the sun, you can’t go wrong with bringing Mom to beach. But just in case you want to do a bit more with Mom, we have some pretty great ideas of where you can take her for a day she won’t soon forget!

Ask just about anyone who has traveled to Panama City Beach, Florida and they’re likely to tell you about Shell Island – one of Florida’s diamonds in the rough! A favorite spot for locals and visitors, this natural environment and undeveloped barrier runs seven miles east to west between the Gulf of Mexico and St. Andrews Bay. For more info, click here!

St. Andrews State Park is probably one of the more beautiful places you will ever visit. This pristine 1,260-acre park offers a peek at what the entire beach area looked like before hotels, restaurants, and homes took over most of the 27 mile stretch of beach front. The north side of the park fronts Grand Lagoon. There’s a pier, a boat launch, a picnic area with grills, and plenty of campsites on the north side. The south side fronts the St. Andrew Bay channel entrance. There is a huge rock jetty to explore and the fishing is exceptional. For more info, click here!

Panama City Beach is well known for having some of the prettiest, most impressive sunsets in the world. Tourists and residents alike are seen each night taking a memorable snapshot of the setting sun, usually from on the beach, from their hotel balcony, or will even pull over to the side of the road.
