The Bay County Tourist Development Council announced recently that tourism development tax numbers (commonly known as the \”bed tax\”) hit another record in May, besting the previous May mark set in 2015.
After a great Fourth of July weekend with families taking in fireworks and picture-perfect weather, there’s no doubt that record numbers will continue to pour in.
Much can be attributed to consistent positive feedback from previous tourists, plus steady positive reviews on TripAdvisor. The rankings are almost off the chart.
